Olbigead grew up just outside Nottingham in a family that loves music...any type of music. His dad gave him his first guitar at 16, which is what he plays on to this day. He developed a love of improvising blues on the piano and played in various bands in London during the early nineties. He came to NYC 20 years ago for a job in publishing. His passion is writing on an acoustic guitar. His idols are Buckley, Bjork, Simon/Garfunkel, Prince, Bowie, Cohen, Bon Iver, Neil Young, Alice Phoebe Lou, Mumford, Hendrix, Floyd, Zepplin, Nirvana and Radiohead. If you sing something, say something.
